Task 1 : Mobile Application Proposal
➔ ➔ ➔ timeframe / Week 01-04
In this project 1, we are required to create a proposal documentation for the mobile application project. We are required to redesign an existing app
that we find unsatisfactory in terms of the user experience or interface
design and its subject to preliminary approval by the module
coordinator.
We, students need to do surveys, interviews, market studies
and research on the selected topic. The document should also include
key features of their mobile application and provide clear flowchart of
the app. The document will determine whether or not the mobile
application idea is good to continue to the next development phase.
This task is an iterative process whereby during the assignment period,
students are free to get feedback from their peers and module
coordinator to further refine their idea.

Based on Mr. Shamsul's suggestion, we were advised to create a list of three ideas in a Google Sheet and analyze the main functions and features of these apps, along with their strengths and weaknesses. Initially, my idea revolved around an e-book application, which I found intriguing. However, after the feedback session, I decided to shift my focus towards developing a food and beverages-themed application, which is another idea that I am genuinely interested in exploring and pursuing about.
➔ Miro-board
During the initial stages of the process, I utilized a Miro-board to brainstorm and note down three different application ideas. The purpose of this exercise was to explore various possibilities and evaluate their potential for development. After that I began to do the finalize ideas and create the proposal slides
➔ Finalize proposal ideas
1. E-book app (Kindle) ❌
Although I had already done the first proposal slides about e-book app but still it was not approved proposal, due to the limitations can be done in e-book app as the E-book apps often require specific user interactions, such as bookmarking pages, highlighting text, or making notes. Redesigning these interactive features while maintaining a user-friendly and intuitive interface can be a complex task additionally can be challenging to do at the same time.
However, I I still gained valuable insights and experiences throughout the process. I still received valuable feedback from my lecturer and friends where it really allowed me to reflect on my initial concept and make necessary adjustments. It taught me the importance of being open to feedback and adapting my ideas based on constructive criticism.

After receiving feedback, I became more cautious and selective in my approach about the application. I decided to explore different avenues and gain inspiration by thoroughly examining various apps. I began browsing the app store and scrutinizing my phone screen to discover potential ideas that able works for redesign the app.
During this exploration, I came across a bubble tea app that caught my attention. As I delved deeper into its features and functionalities, I realized its immense potential and the growing popularity of bubble tea among users. This intrigued me and sparked my interest to pursue a food and beverage application, specifically focused on bubble tea and therefore I decided to choose GongCha Application.

The low ratings of 1.8 for the GongCha app in the app store indicate a significant level of dissatisfaction among users. Where I could delve deeper into understanding the reasons behind such low scores in order to address the issues and improve the app's performance.

Starting by on-boarding I could noticed that the technical issues such as bugs and errors which can significantly impact the app's performance and user experience.
