INSTRUCTIONS

PROJECT 2 :PRODUCTION SHOOTING EXERCISE
Week 5 (26/09/2022) 

During week 5, Mr Martin briefing about project 2 about introduction to production team , we were split to 2 groups the monday and tuesday session.  After split and join into the group 2, we cooperate and divides the roles together. I am more interested into  production designer. The few scene we were assigned to reshoot is from a korean television series called Happiness 해피니스 , 2021. It is an apocalyptic thriller that takes place in a time in which infectious diseases have become the new norm.

Role of production designer : responsible for creating the physical, visual appearance of the film - settings, costumes, props, character makeup. brings their crew, equipment, talent (actors) and all necessary props out to the location and capture all the footage necessary

I make and list them into visual form so that the actor are clear and knew what are they going to bring and prepared before the shoot starts. Besides, before the shoot start, I looked it through the script, scene, setting needed , me and Honoka also in charge of props and make-up. We divide the task by bringing props that needed for the scene. One of the scene required a make-up scene which are the blood cuts at the wrist.

I do some research and practice before the shoots starts. It was quite fun and interesting to learn new things that I never done before. The cuts its actually really easy to do in make up. I learnt and drew them in less than 10mins. Here are the outcomes :

Week 7 (10/10/2022) - Editing Progress in PR

During the editing progress , the group are really responsible in their individual roles, I responsible in editing the behind the scene photos and opened the drive folder for them to upload the video and audio clips.

We also learnt about colour correction and colour grading during the class, and in this production shoot ,Mr Martin suggest us to give it some "tone and mood" into the video , in here I adjust the brightness temperature and tint to give it a very moody feeling.

In this stage, I realize the importance and difference after adding the recorded sound audio , the sound are actually more clear and greater without distracting background noise. After adjusting and double checking everything and below are the final outcome :

"Issa Wrap !" Here are some behind the scenes (BTS) where I took the photos for the production shoots and also thank you for Anna Chin and Honoka who helped me takes some of the BTS photos too. The experience for this project 2 is defiantly enjoyable. I loved the working environment together and I do sincerely enjoyed being one of the members in group 2 and working as production designers.
